Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Taskra account or installing the Taskra Shopify app, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Taskra is an AI-powered customer support platform for ecommerce sellers. The service connects to your online store, learns your products and policies, and automatically generates and sends replies to customer messages across multiple channels.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

  • Taskra offers monthly and annual subscription plans billed through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial.
  • Annual plans are billed once per year and discounted ~25% versus the monthly equivalent.
  • You may cancel at any time. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
  • We reserve the right to update pricing with 30 days notice.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Taskra to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited messages
  • Deceive customers or misrepresent products
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or resell the service
  • Overload or attack our infrastructure

5. AI-Generated Content

Taskra uses AI to generate customer support replies. You acknowledge that:

  • AI replies are generated based on training data you provide
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI replies and the content sent to customers
  • Taskra does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content
  • We are not liable for any losses caused by inaccurate AI replies

6. Data & Privacy

Your use of Taskra is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Intellectual Property

Taskra and all its components are the intellectual property of Taskra Ltd. You retain ownership of your store data and training content.

8. Service Availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taskra's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or illegal activity. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
